New Directions Social Care are currently recruiting for experienced Mental Health Support Workers to work in small residential services that cater for adults with a mental health condition requiring 24/7 support. As a New Directions Support Worker you will be working in services which offer quality care, full induction, friendly staff teams and consistent bookings. You will be paid ??7.50 -??9.00 per hour with additional benefits such as holiday pay , enhanced rates for some clients and the flexibility to work when you would like to. Free training is available and is constantly being updated in line with current legislation and you will get a certificate for your own CPD. We currently have vacancies in Highbridge working in services with adults with mental health conditions for a residential based service; you will be part of an established, friendly staff team. The role offers flexibility on hours /shifts worked and some of the main duties are listed below: Work with the nursing team to ensure safety, wellbeing of the service user.To be aware of the psychological, social, physical and spiritual needs of all patients.Implementation of patient careTo actively promote healthy wellbeing, participation in activitiesTo help ensure there is a safe, clean, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients To become a New Directions Support Worker you must be calm, approachable, excellent communicator, be personable and above all else ensure you will always put the service users wellbeing first in return we will offer you the opportunity to develop your skills in different settings, CPD and the opportunity to work with a friendly supportive team with a combined knowledge of social care who are there 24/7 to ensure that your experience is seamless.
