Production Planner

Job Title: Production Planner Job Overview: To facilitate the Production Management Team in the Planning and Coordination of Aluminium Door, Window and Curtain Wall Fabrication. Ensuring an effective and efficient implementation of Production plans to suit the process flows and manufacturing processes within the business. Maintain and organise all production related planning systems and keep in line with Project Programmes whilst working within the machine and capacity constraints of the Organisation. Job Description: Responsible for the daily production loading and capacity planning, controlling and measuring the production schedule on a daily basis.Organising and chairing daily production meetings with Production Team.Work closely with Project Coordinators being responsible for Project Query Facilitation and ensuring products are delivered in line with production requirements.Part of Project Team (s) tasked with improving business processes in terms of warehousing, goods inwards, supplier management, productivity and efficiency.Investigating any stock discrepancies and providing and implementing appropriate corrective actions.Liaising with Factory Team Leaders to ensure orders are on time and in full.Produce regular reports on Productivity, efficiency, and delivery performance tracked against department KPI's.Checking of invoices and ensuring invoices charged to correct budget centres.Ensure NCR's are raised and catalogued for both internal fabrication and Supplier issues, and are issued alongside any additional Purchase Orders if required.Generate Stock Management Record for each Live Project and support the Production Administrator to ensure that these records are kept up to date.Provide a Procurement Function for all Non Project based Purchases i.e. tooling, ancillary stock, PPE, sourcing Suppliers and obtaining competitive quotes.
