Role: Planning Team Leader Location: Avonmouth Depot Salary: ??27,000 - ??32,000 At The Co-op we believe in putting our customers, colleagues and communities at the heart of everything we do. At 435,000 sq ft, it provides daily deliveries to over 492 stores, handling over 1.3million cases a week. Avonmouth plays a big part in keeping our customers happy, and we're now looking for a Planning Team Manager to help support this amazing site. As a Planning Team Manager, we'll look for you to plan every aspect of the daily tasks within the depot. You'll monitor the KPI's, time allocation and staff availability and deployment for the complete 24 hour operation. You'll use this MI to populate structured reports and discuss improvements or opportunities with the management team. What you'll do * Plan and maintain the depot's staff resource allocation. * Analyse and develop reports using Excel, highlighting areas for working more efficiently. * Manage relationships with various senior partners within the depot and wider business, in particular the Shift Managers and Warehouse Manager. * Communicate with the wider depot team on depot performance To be successful as a Planning Team Manager, you'll be a very strong communicator and have examples of where you've managed senior business partners previously. But, most importantly, you'll be very detail orientated due to the very structured and comprehensive reports that you'll be analysing and developing. Ideally you'll have previous logistics or warehousing experience, as this will help you understand the deployment process. Due to the shift patterns within the depot, we'll need you to be flexible, so that you can pick up and handover information with other managers.
