An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of our most successful Financial Services clients in Bristol whose products and services are second to none. We are seeking highly experienced and professional Risk and Compliance Consultants to form part of the Risk Partner unit which provides advice and guidance to the various business units on managing their risks, including escalating risk and control issues to senior management. On a day-to-day basis the successful candidate will be required to provide advice, expertise and guidance on a wide range of regulatory issues, ensuring Business Units are able to understand and fulfill their obligations under various codes and legislations. You will be required to participate in strategic and operational project teams and the knowledge and advice provided will be pivotal to the success of the project including defining regulatory requirements and embedding new procedures. Alongside this, you will ensure an effective risk assessment and reporting framework is in place to facilitate management of business risks, reporting, escalation and resolution of any issues that have been identified. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years financial regulatory experience and have a track proven record of working within a compliance and risk function. You must have a good understanding of regulatory regimes, FCA Handbook/MCOB/TCF and be able to analyse and interpret regulatory documentation. The Certificate in Financial Planning (or equivalent) would be highly advantageous although not essential.
