To generate and grow the business and represent the commercial and technical interests of the Cutting Tools and Metal Forming segments of the company

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibilities:

* To monitor market demand for Coating

* To generate new customers and maintain and grown exiting customers in the market for this service.

* To conduct technical/commercial discussions with customers at all levels and present seminars when required.

* To work in conjunction with all other departments and liaise with colleagues both nationally and internationally

* To generate and follow up quotations

* To monitor competitors technical and commercial activities and strategies and report in appropriate detail, in particular where these could adversely affect the Company's business.

* To prepare and agree with the MD, annual order intake budgets or any such financial data as and when required. Issue monthly rolling order forecast revisions for the Department in accordance with Company practice

* Share best practices; including visits, documentati0on and training to fill the gaps in the technical and project management areas SPC.

* Support the marketing activities by participating in trade fairs and exhibitions, conferences and writing articles.

* Support the introduction of new projects on the technical side e.g. applications

* Manage contact with universities, institutes and associations.

* To observe the methodologies of 5s as part of the daily routine

Education/studies

Ideally educated to degree level in Engineering, Material discipline

Professional experience

Ideally from technical / engineering environment used to selling to industry

High complexity relating to coating technology and equipment used to produce coatings

Needs to be a team player but also able to work on own initiative

Delivery of Sales budget and management of expenses associated with this position
