Cost Accountant

My client are one of the largest privately held companies in the world and are currently looking for a Plant Cost Leader to join their head office in Wigan on a permanent basis.

Day to day duties include:

Build & maintain Bill of Materials files
Continuous interaction with manufacturing and production teams
Analyse actual to standard variances, report differences to management and make recommendations
Compile statistical reports as requested
Support of inventory cycle count
Assist plant finance leader in daily/weekly activities
Drive profit and process improvement

What skills do I need?

BS Degree in Accounting or Finance or Proven financial experience
3 years entry level management accounting experience
Experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment
CIMA or ACCA certification is desirable

Working hours for this role will be Monday - Friday 9-5.
