The Recruiter Insurance Specialists are currently working with this firm in the Oldham area who are looking to recruit a Property Claims Handler to their team.
The Oragnisation:
A fast-growing Insurance Claims Management Company which prides itself in its dynamic culture, brand and reputation for the provision of exceptional customer service. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Property Claims Handlers to join our team in our Oldham office.
We are seeking an insurance claims handlers who will be responsible for handling a portfolio of claims from first notification through to completion of works, dealing with incoming calls from policyholders, insurers and contractors. You will fully manage the claims process, liaising with all parties involved ensuring the claim is handled professionally, efficiently and effectively.
Key Skills:
Technical building knowledge and claims handling experience desirable for this role along with the ability to handle customers who have suffered losses in a sympathetic manner.
Good telephone and communication skills are essential, being professional and courteous always.
Ability to work to service standards.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently handle claims from claim notification through to settlement whilst demonstrating a proactive approach
Ensuring claims are handled within the appropriate timescales & in accordance with client KPI's and SLA's
Gather and process information to support the effective assessment of claims where referral is required
To assist the team in providing an effective and efficient claims service by adherence to the technical and operational standards of the company
Demonstrating empathy and understanding when liaising with policyholders
Dealing with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner
Ensuring FSA regulations are adhered to always
Showing initiative and problem solving/analytical skills
Accurate interpretation of policy cover
Investigate and manage claims to quality expected by the customer
Build relationships with customers and insurers
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday between 8am - 6pm on a rota basis.
