About the role:
They are currently looking to recruit an Invoice Processing Team Leader into their centralised transactions team in Leeds to manage a team of 6 Invoice Processing Clerks. This diverse and challenging role will provide the right candidate with a real opportunity to influence improvements in the accounts payable and reporting processes.
Key responsibilities within this role will include:
- Leading the team responsible for processing circa 200,000 supplier invoices annually and monitoring processing volumes of each individual.
- Ensuring key controls are adhered to when processing invoices.
- Working closely with the Query Resolution Team Leader to ensure key supplier accounts are monitored and up to date.
- Development of the team and establishment and monitoring of daily / weekly / monthly KPI`s.
- Providing support to the Accounts Payable Manager
- Engagement with the business to deliver continuous process improvements
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have experience of Accounts Payable preferably in a multi-divisional environment. With a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel, you will be well organised with the ability to work well under your own initiative and able to prioritise work.
In order to interact effectively with the business and suppliers you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills along with excellent planning and organisational abilities. Previous experience using COINS or IFS would be advantageous.
You may have experience of the following: Invoice Processing Team Leader, COINS, IFS, Accounts Payable, Finance Team Leader, Finance Assistant, Accounts Payable Supervisor, Accounting Supervisor, Accounts Team Lead, etc.
