The Company

* One of the UK's largest Insurance Broking organisations are looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Development Executive to build a portfolio of clients across the North West.
* Our client is a household name, respected in the corporate world and known for providing outstanding insurance and risk management advice and service to businesses of all sizes.
* This role exists within the corporate team, based in Manchester and offers the opportunity to work with a number of blue chip organisations.

The Role

* Develop innovative sales strategies and plans designed to leverage interest and business;
* In conjunction with the Managing Director, prepare and agree sales forecasts, targets, plans and budgets for your respective sales area, providing work in progress updates on a monthly basis or upon request;
* To be responsible for achievement of sales forecasts, plans, targets, programmes and budgets in your respective sales area acting always within FCA Rules
* Draw on existing network and other methods to self-generate leads
* Actively participate as required in cross selling through all Company division
* Maintain effective working relationships with Account Executives and service teams to assist subsequent servicing;
* Open dialogue with potential new clients and discuss Company's products with knowledge and credibility;
* Provide price information in a clear, consistent and accurate fashion in line with compliance policy;
* Plan and implement appointments to ensure effective use of time and provide activity reports on a monthly basis;
* Prepare and deliver presentations as appropriate to client audiences at all levels.

Candidate Skills and Competencies

* You will bring strong working knowledge of commercial and corporate insurance programmes, as well as the strong communication and negotiation skills to trade with multiple contacts as blue-chip organisations.
* Your experience will have been gained within a broking organisation and you will demonstrate a track record of effectively managing accounts to exceed client expectations and ensure renewal/account growth.
* You will be committed to your personal development, either ACII qualified or working towards.
