Contracts Manager | GBP55-GBP65K | High End Residential
I am looking for a contracts manager on behalf of one of my clients, a main contractor who specialise in high end residential new build projects.
They are currently looking to add a contracts manager to work within the contracts team in a mainly site-based role. The companies recent projects include work on new extremely high end residential refurbishments in prestigious central London locations.
The contracts manager will be responsible for multiple sites. You will have to ensure works are managed tightly to ensure they meet terms of the contract in all aspects including the terms of programme, specification, quality control and health and safety.
The successful person will have;
* A high end residential refurbishment background/experience
* At least 3 years of experience supervising key building trade on large construction sites.
* Confidence to make decisions, be adaptable, be able to handle pressure and communal change.
* Will have the ability to independently assess a site/situation and present clear feedback and recommendations to the office team including implications for impact on time lines, need to move labour etc,
* Be able to read and construction drawings and translate into need to do/make happen action plan
* Be a good communicator at all levels i.e. site labour, head office, factory, suppliers and client based site team etc.
* Be administratively strong, able to keep files up to date, take notes, keep notes, strong planning ability etc.
* Be able to present a professional image of the company and promote all aspects of the group offering including architectural glass.
* A UK driving licence (no more than 6 points maximum).

* 45-65K based on experience
