Are you an HR professional, confident in providing advice & guidance to employees & line managers, looking to join a fast paced, growing business? This is a permanent, part-time 20 hours a week position.

Job Overview:

This position supports the HR Department in all generalist HR activities, specifically reviewing and advising on HR policies and processes across the business, ensuring the most effective utilisation of human resources for the purpose of achieving strategic business objectives.

Job Description:

* Manage end to end recruitment as required by hiring managers
* Coordinate the Induction process for all new starters
* Manage and update new starter's documentation to maintain accurate personnel files and liaise with Payroll to track staff movements
* Ensure Employee contracts are compliant and suit business needs
* Develop and maintain accuracy of Employee Handbook
* Assist with managing performance reviews ensuring they are scheduled correctly and followed up on by issuing relevant documentation
* Assist with reporting of quarterly targets to management team and ensuring new targets are agreed within expected time line
* Arrange team meetings ensuring they occur regularly amongst teams
* Manage & report on employee times ensuring all staff are completing the required working time as per contract of employment
* Assist with managing underperforming staff members, referring to company policy and procedures and following up with necessary documentation
* Manage company social events
* Assist with booking and organising training days, external visits etc.
* Ensure organisation is fully compliant with all legislation .i.e. H & Safety etc.

Background:

* BA/Educational background in HR
* Minimum of 2 years' experience from a Generalist/Advisor role required
* Must have high level of competence in dealing with all employee relations matters Must demonstrate discretion in all aspects of employees gaining the trust of co-workers and colleagues
* Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Must have strong IT skills
* Must have ability to work independently and take initiative, but also must be enthusiastic team player
