In this SENCO post you will be leading the SEN provision which includes supportive TA's who help raise the attainment levels of pupils in the SEN department within the school. Your responsibilities will include liaising with the caring SLT who are known for a hands-on approach to management and have a caring attitude as well as leading a team of dedicated, bright support staff. The school is dedicated to uphold an inclusive philosophy and so expects a particular type of teaching - that of parity and equality in class. Part of your role will include impressing the school's management team by completing extra duties that comes with a TLR SEN Co-ordinator role.

We are looking for a dynamic SENCO who has previous experience in a school and worked in an environment with a high number of SEN pupils in a previous educational setting. The ideal individual should be able to show their pupils and colleagues the value of hard work by setting high expectations and examples of how to achieve them. The school wants to see candidates who have the determination to meet challenges head-on and a great team ethic as well as confidence working autonomously. The role will include providing advice, support and guidance.

This is a Catholic all-girls settings found in Croydon.
