Quality Manager/ QA Manager
Position: Quality Manager/ QA Manager
Location: Suffolk
Salary: GBP28,000- GBP30,000 per annum
A Manufacturing Company based in Suffolk are currently looking for a Quality Manager to provide overall management of the quality system and implementation of procedures. The appointed Quality Manager will provide leadership and hands-on expertise within the company's Quality team in order to deliver both quality and commercial goals.
Quality Manager: Key Responsibilities
Areas of responsibility:
* Establish and maintain the Quality Management System
* Drive forward ISO re-accreditation
* Manage continuous improvement programs and set and deliver the performance metrics for Quality within the organization
* Help manage the development of suppliers and general business partners.
* Manage the internal audit program, including supplier audits where required and the corrective actions process
* To ensure that the company procedures and systems are continually reviewed and maintained in line with Industry Quality Standards
* To introduce, coach, and engage teams to conduct root cause analysis on both internal and external quality issues and formulate resolutions in a timely manner. Also, to ensure the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions and prevent problems from reoccurring
* Act as Quality interface with customers regarding all quality related issues.
* Create and manage internal inspection and test specifications
* Identify and contain problems as they arise and lead problem solving activities.
* Compile and approve product documentation certification and release requirements
* When required perform goods inwards inspection and review requirements
* Management of quality standards both internally and across our supply chain
* Investigating and completing reports on customer quality issues
* Liaising with suppliers to resolve quality issues
Quality Manager: Qualification / Experience:
* Experience in a manufacturing environment implementing quality assurance processes and techniques. (5+ years)
* Educated to degree level
* A strong understanding of ISO systems
* Experience in carrying out internal and supplier audits
* Previous experience working in a High-tech manufacturing environment.
