My client, a market leading international Engineering and Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Rail, Utilities, Water, Energy and Environment sectors, is searching for an experienced Ground Investigation Engineer to join their busy Warrington office.
Candidates are required to have:
* A BSc in Engineering Geology or a relevant discipline (MSc preferred)
* UK industry experience in Ground Investigation
* Excellent soil and rock logging skills
* Project management experience
* CSCS Card
* PTS Certification for work on Rail sites
* UK Driving License
A successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a diverse team of dedicated and innovative engineers completing ground investigation reports for railway projects including the planning, organisation, site supervision, logging, laboratory testing and analysis phases.
As a Ground Investigation Engineer you will be required to:
* Assist in the delivery of Ground Investigations
* Lead the planning and organisation of your schemes
* Meet budget, time-frame and quality targets
* Liaise with the in-house consultancy team
* Provide detailed risk assessments
* Prepare Health & Safety documentation
* Mentor junior members
It is also beneficial for candidates to have experience in working in a rail environment and to have experience in collaborating with other engineering design disciplines.
