Our Client based in Wellingborough is looking for a Field Sales Account Manager to join their existing team.

Purpose of the position
1) Drive sales and margin though a personal allocated customer base
2) Identify potential business opportunities and proactively promote and sell the Clients proposition.
3) To identify, and target gaps in customer buying patterns to increase share of wallet with my Client.
4) To accurately interpret and effectively communicate the Clients strategy

Key responsibilities
• Selling the Clients product portfolio and services in order to meet sales and GPM targets.
• Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed plans.
• Plan to make sure all daily, weekly and monthly KPIs are met.
• Proactive development customers; delivering and maximizing sales opportunities by offering customers product solutions covering their needs.
• Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
• Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
• Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
• Maintain and develop customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
• Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, CRM and I Visit, and update relevant information held in these systems.
• Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
• Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
• Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
• Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
• Attend an support company at national and local industry exhibitions
• Attend training, to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
• Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
Skills required
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to influence customer buying decisions.
• Excellent time management and organsiational skills
• Ability to identify and work with relevant business resources at Customer Service, Account Management, Trading, Finance.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities according to sales opportunities.
• Excellent negotiating skills with a strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Solid communication and active listening skills with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Self-motivated with the ability to operate collectively.
• Attention to detail.

Education & Experience
• Grades B or above in GSCE English language and Maths
• 2-3 years previous experience in a field based account management role.
• Proven track record of achieving monthly, annual sales targets in a highly competitive market place.
• Experience of selling a portfolio of products with related services.
• Operating in a highly competitive, dynamic and ambiguous environment.
• Excellent with MS Office, CRM (Excel desirable).

The role is covering the South & The Midlands so we need someone ideally who lives on the out Skirts of the M25.
