POST Recruitment is looking to recruit an experienced SEO Manager to lead our client's expanding in-house SEO Team in Leeds City Centre on a salary of GBP35,000 to GBP40,000.

Our client is a group of large online and offline retailers who have a disruptive growth strategy and require an SEO strategy to support its grow.

SEO knowledge and experience runs throughout the business. The successful candidate will have full support to implement their ideas and strategy.

You'll have the opportunity to lead a best practice SEO strategy, progress your career, as well as working collaboratively with other digital marketing channels, such as PPC (Pay Per Click), Email Marketing, PR, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation), SMM (Social Media Marketing) and affiliates, allowing you to broaden your skill-set.

As a SEO Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading & implementing the SEO strategy across multiple brands .
• Managing the appropriate reports and operational KPIs that demonstrate the performance of the SEO channel.
• Ad-hoc data driven investigation and analysis on link acquisition, site performance, accessibility, content and site architecture.
• Ensuring that sites (both new and existing) meet best practice standards and adhere to the overriding SEO strategy.
• Creating technical site audits and identifying site improvements.
• Testing and implementing data-driven SEO improvements.
• Developing strong relationships with the fascia managers to ensure punctual, efficient responses to on-site SEO requirements in advance ready for implementation.
• Working closely with in-house PR and content teams ensure maximum SEO benefits are felt from these channels.
• Ensuring content strategies are followed and opportunities identified.
• Reading industry blogs, news etc to ensure best practice implementation and on-going techniques are used.


• A passion for SEO best practice.
• Previous experience in a senior SEO role, either with a leading digital agency, or in-house with a leading brand.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience handling and analysing large data sets.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO aspects.
• Ability to create and implement SEO strategies for content & PR.
• Experience with creative 'link building' campaigns.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Experience of eCommerce platforms would be an advantage, but is not essential.
