JOB TITLE: Sales Appointment Co-ordinator

SALARY & BENEFITS: Up to GBP19,000 + performance related bonus.

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:45am - 5pm

THE COMPANY: Working in partnership with all the main energy suppliers and smaller independents, our client operates predominately within a specialist niche sector, helping busy practice managers save time and money on their gas and electricity bills by managing their energy contract administration whilst also finding them competitive deals. In addition to energy supply contract procurement, our client also provides cutting edge solutions for energy efficiency and consumption monitoring, SMART metering and other energy solutions coupled with energy supply account management needs, tailored to each practice.

THE ROLE: The Sales Appointment Co-ordinator will engage with potential clients, booking appointment calls with the relevant Account Manager in order to generate new business leads. There will be no cold calling involved, only warm leads.

Key Responsibilities of a Sales Appointment Co-ordinator to include:-
  • Making relevant outbound calls for and on behalf of the sales team to generate new business leads.
  • Booking appointments with the clients and the relevant account manager within Google Mail.
  • Following up all appointments with necessary confirmation and aftercare.
  • Making initial contact with potential clients via email as a company introduction.
  • To ensure accurate capture and maintenance of client data within the database.
  • To deal with clients in a positive and professional manner.
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will be a hardworking and committed strong team player who is enthusiastic and proactive. Professional and customer focused they will also be dynamic and assertive and must be emotionally resilient in this role. The successful candidate will live within a commutable distance of Northampton.

Key experience/skills essential for the role of Sales Appointment Co-ordinator based in Northampton:
  • Must live within a commutable distance of Northampton.
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Extensive Industry knowledge (Energy Sector)
  • Experience of working in the SME sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales cycle.
  • Gmail, Microsoft Excel and Office fluent.
  • Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skill.
  • Great time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Leadership and management experience.
