LOCATION: Liverpool

JOB TITLE: Construction Tutor

SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP18,000 pro rata (Term time only)

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4pm.

THE COMPANY: Our client are well established and they offer teaching facilities to young people aged 14 - 19 to obtain BTEC qualifications in construction. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Construction Tutor to join the team on a full time permanent basis.

Please note there is opportunities available in Liverpool and Warrington

THE ROLE: For the role of the Construction Tutor you will be teaching pupils about construction, particularly focusing on joinery / carpentry.

Key Responsibilities for the Construction Tutor role to include:-

• Attend morning meetings with the Centre Manager to organise the day ahead
• Teach 4 lessons between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm
• To ensure workbooks are completed by pupils
• To mark work and ensure feedback is provided to the pupils suggesting any improvements they can make

THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Construction Tutor you will have a professional attitude and approach. You will have a passion for working with young people and be enthusiastic and an excellent communicator. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Liverpool or Warrington.

Key experience essential for the role of Construction Tutor:-

• A minimum of 2 years experience within joinery / carpentry
• An NVQ level 2 or above is advantageous
