Do you have a passion for design? Are you super organised with a commercial mind? Do you want to push the boundaries of how design can be used in PR campaigns?
"Over the last year, our client have grown at such a rate that they are looking to expand on the services that they offer in-house," "We are creating this job for a designer as a new role - so it's a great opportunity to forge your own path in an exciting and growing business."
We are looking for a graphic designer to take full responsibility for the production and design of infographics, white papers and industry guides. They should have excellent photo-editing skills and be able to produce in-house marketing materials, such as brochures and leaflets, to an extremely high standard.
They must be able to work in a team environment, have excellent communication skills and a positive 'can-do' attitude.
Web development skills, such as confidently being able to build and use content management systems, Dreamweaver and HTML are preferred but not essential. A strong understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) would also be an advantage.
Our client believes empowering its staff makes it successful. All team members benefit from a planned series of training workshops and all employees receive a GBP200 annual bursary, to spend on non-vocational training.
Typical activities would include working across a range of engineering and technology clients to achieve the following:
Designing infographics, slideshares, guides and white papers
Editing photography and images to accompany press releases
Designing brochures, data sheets and adverts
Creating online content, such as web sites, content zones and online press offices
