Chase and Holland are proud to be working exclusively with a well-established company based in North Derbyshire who's are looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join their growing finance team. Through excellent Award Winning service and a growing customer base, the company has doubled its turnover over the past year and has forecasting to repeat this again in the year ahead.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a great opportunity to work within a fast-paced finance team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Support the delivery of successful, timely month end close in line with the month end timetable.
* Processing supplier invoices onto the company ERP.
* Processing Purchase orders within the system following approved requisitions.
* Recording delivery notes onto Eque2 - to include delivery note information received at site and received into the office.
* Processing all monthly credit card items onto the system and ensure valid VAT receipts accompany all spend where applicable.
* Reconcile supplier accounts each month before the purchase ledger close to ensure all items are captured.
* Assist with the submission of the monthly CIS return and ensure the correct treatment for payments to all CIS suppliers in the purchase ledger.
* Assist with cash book and sales ledger as required.
* Assist with preparing the payment runs for approval as required - to include monthly and fortnightly payment runs
* Dealing with cost reports and queries for cost centre owners
* Ad-hoc analysis and reports as required
* Ensure all relevant accounts paperwork is filed and recorded appropriately

Person Specification:

* Part Qualified AAT desired
* Experienced in working towards month end reporting cycles, within tight timescales.
* Experience of working in a busy finance department
* Good Excel skills
* Organised with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload essential
* Confident communicator who can work well under pressure
* Has a positive can-do approach
