This national charity is looking for a proactive and resourceful technical support professional to provide first and second line support to their users. Reporting to the IS Operations Manager, you'll respond to helpdesk requests, over the phone, via email or face to face, analysing user needs to find the best solution to their problems.

You will be responsible for supporting PCs, peripherals and telephony, for enabling network access and for managing permissions. You'll perform back up procedures, upgrades and system maintenance.

Proactive and analytical, you will enjoy resolving user problems and be familiar with installing, upgrading and supporting a variety of hardware and technologies. You will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with users and will approach issues calmly and methodically.

As this role may involve working outside normal working hours periodically in order for system upgrades and other maintenance to be done, you'll need to be flexible with regards to your working hours.
