Job Title: Field Operation Operations Assistant Manager

Department: Service

Reports to: Field Operations Manager
Overall Objective of Role: To assist in maintaining and improving the sales and profitability of the service department.
To contribute to the overall profitability of the company.
Control company installation and commissioning projects
And any other duties deemed necessary within the organisation, consistent with the employees' skills and status.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

1. Plant Installation Control
2. Quotations
3. Support Service Activities - Technical Electro-mechanical & process knowledge required
4. Provide technical support to customers and engineers
5. Buying support, ordering and parts identification for service activities
6. Provide H & S support
7. Establish and support Quality Management System
8. Support Service Administration/Sales
9. HR support
Main Duties:
(in no particular order)
Organise and maintain installation/commission projects for new/re-sited equipment
Ensure H & S, Schedules of work, Quality systems are implemented on installation/commissioning work
Manage and improve engineer and support staff performance
H & S and Quality Control management
Provide technical help desk support and customer services
Maintain company IT systems for areas of responsibility
Support Service, Installation and Commissioning activities
Deputise for Field Operations Manager
Support service sales - Quotations/Estimates
Flexibility
Supporting team members
Requirement to train others as and when necessary
Undertake training as required
Maintain and establish Quality procedures
Any new task that may be relevant in the future
