Location: Sidcup and Surrounding areas

General Responsibility:

To be a member of the care team, ensuring that the personal care of the resident is maintained, according to the needs and capabilities of the individual. Commitment, flexibility and continuity are essential criteria. (Adults)

Hours*

Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends Care Workers Needed

Morning starters - from 6.30am start and evening calls from 5pm - 11pm

To promote personal and physical independence and choice in the activities of daily living undertaken by the client at home and in the community.

Areas of work: Sidcup and surrounding areas.

After initial induction and following planned training, a Care Worker/ Support Worker will be able, in accordance with the Company Policies and Procedures to:

Assist with basic personal care including:

• Washing his/her body and hair

• Dressing

• Use of toilet

• Eating and drinking

• Personal grooming

• Assisting/prompting medication

• Preparation of meals, taking into account any dietary needs

• Emptying commode

All such assistance will be given while observing the client`s dignity and privacy. The care worker should promote independence and encourage the client to undertake all tasks within their capabilities, with their assistance. Full training will be provided.
