Factorylux are a cutting edge, UK lighting manufacturer, now looking for a talented Sales Account Manager to join our team. You don’t necessarily need prior Lighting Sales experience, but you do need to be ready to learn and as passionate as we are about taking our products directly to Architects & Designers. We're good at being ourselves and we want you to be yourself too, in return, you’ll grow as we grow, you’ll work in a progressive, design-led manufacturing business and reap the rewards.

Architectural Lighting:

For almost a decade we've disrupted the lighting market. Top brands from Marks & Spencer to Martin Scorsese depend on Factorylux for innovative lighting + provenance. In 2016 we launched a completely original range of LED based architectural lighting and lighting track.

The Opportunity for You:

In Summer 2016 we toured #The Van around the UK and Europe. Running workshops, film screenings and socials, we took our brand and products directly to hundreds of designers and specifiers. It's the most successful thing we ever launched.

We already landed leading projects for BXR Gym, Lush and other forward thinking brands. Our flagship spotlight, 'Factorylux 99’ is a sub-£100, value engineered (Xicato) wonder that simultaneously manages to be configurable, beautiful and hip. 

Role:

You’ll be working from #The Van (yes, an actual van), our London office which is hosted by Old Truman Brewery. Our sales process is a simple one:

• CRM database of warm leads within most creative / dynamic lighting design practises
• Fix up sales calls/ visits/ emails/ meetings with clients at #TheVan or their place
• Identify and log projects relevant to Factorylux
• Once logged, follow each one, supplying designers with product info or samples as required
• Over time, you’ll develop meaningful working relationships with the designers you support

The basis of our relationship with designers is credibility, objectivity and real enthusiasm for lighting. We’re employee co-owned; it's an inclusive and highly engaged set up. The team at our HQ/ factory in Yorkshire will expect you to deliver a well organised, highly professional and prompt service on their behalf. You can expect the same in return.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Targets & Reporting
Monthly reports to Factorylux management to discuss performance, agree targets, solutions and implementation.

• Training & Support
You'll grow your knowledge & expertise by working side by side with experienced colleagues.

• Product Development
You'll help us stay ahead of market trends, maintaining space between us and the competition.

• Product Interface
From online configurators to great sample cases, you will help drive our service forward.

• Marketing
You’ll muck in and help make our creative events swing.
