* In this role, you will have responsibility for producing half and full year financial statements for presentation at board level.
* You will be a point of contact and assistance within the function for technical queries and requirements and will be involved with providing information and liasing with external auditors.
* You will be joining their strong Group Reporting function, reporting into a highly experienced and supportive direct manager, who will manage your transition from the practice world into an industry accounting function and provide a brilliant framework, within which you will develop quickly and successfully.
Experience and skills required:
* The organisation is specifically looking for practice trained applicants, who have qualified in a top 10 accountancy practice either making their first move out of practice or their second industry move, having gained experience in a reporting focused role.
* Given the technical nature of this position, you will have very strong knowledge of current accounting standards and be confident in your ability to provide technical assistance to the rest of the team.
