Head of Operations Development
New opportunity not to be missed. NFER is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Head of Operations Development to join the team based in Slough. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £57,545 - £64,767 per annum and the level of appointment and associated salary will depend upon qualifications and experience.
NFER is an independent research organisation which undertakes projects in all sectors of education. We are committed to the continuing improvement of education and training for all learners and providing support for policy makers and practitioners. We are seeking to appoint a Head of Operations Development for our Research and Product Operations Department (RPO) to manage continual business improvement, business processes and take forward the development of new projects, working directly to the Director of RPO.
This exciting new Head of Operations Development post will be instrumental in helping NFER to build on our successes in the many projects and products we deliver. The post holder will work collaboratively across the business to develop new projects in this country and internationally that capitalise on NFER’s collective strengths, and will play a key role in the smooth running of the Department’s activities and the continual improvement of our work.
The successful Head of Operations Development will be an experienced leader with proven skills in managing people and large scale complex projects. We are looking for a really energetic, enthusiastic and tenacious person, who will truly drive forward new projects with creativity and confidence. They will need to have a high level of problem solving ability and highly developed commercial understanding with the ability to see the big picture and the small details.
