HR Manager/Business Partner
We are looking for a HR Manager/Business Partner to provide leadership on employee related aspects of the business strategy in respective of human resources, personnel, trade union liaison and organisational development. To work closely with Council (our Governing body), the Chief Executive, senior and departmental managers and staff supervisors to deliver this.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working to deliver the BASW mission and vision and will promote a harmonious and productive employer/employee relationship alongside a positive organisational culture.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organisational and staff development plan is fit to develop BASW as an effective professional association for social work and social workers across the UK.
If you have a senior level qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (or equivalent) and a proven track record of delivering business change through effective consultation, influencing, negotiation and have a focus on long term strategic aims we would like to hear from you. The successful candidate will have experience of pay and terms and conditions negotiations, policy development and successful implementation through effective staff liaison and negotiation with Trade Unions. They will also be experienced at communicating and influencing a diverse range of audiences up to Board level.
