Part Time Year 1 Teacher - January

We are supporting a small primary school in Colchester which prides itself on its family ethos. They are looking for a Year 1 teacher to work in a job share from January on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Their last Ofsted in 2013 was Good and highlighted the family ethos the school has established and the culture of high expectations and the positive environment for learning in which pupils make good progress. Pupils behaviour is exemplary in lessons and around the school. Children work diligently to complete tasks and always give their best. They listen well and eagerly engage in tasks and activities. They enjoy coming to school and attitudes to learning are very good. Attendance is above average.

Are you a teacher who;
Has good subject knowledge and uses questioning effectively?
Can you build positive relationships with pupils that increase the pupils' self-esteem?
Would like to work in a supportive environment and contribution to pupils learning and progress?
Do you have a particular passion for Maths?

All applicants must have the following to be considered for this opportunity:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), NQT or Overseas Qualified Teachers.
PGCE or Degree in Education.
Up- to-date knowledge of the British National Curriculum.
Relevant recent teaching experience.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
