Programme Manager - Insurance (Tier 1 Consultancy) | GBP80k - GBP110k + Car, 20% bonus/bens | London

One of the UK's leading tier 1 consultancy firms have recently set up a specialist insurance technology and advisory firm and are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join their team. The role will lead work on client business/technology transformation engagements spanning the whole of the UK insurance sector. The company are experiencing substantial expansion and investment and are looking for experienced consultancy focused Programme Managers with strong backgrounds in delivery complex solutions to insurance clients.

The role of Programme Manager will focus on major, multi national transformation programmes typically between GBP1m and GBP5m in value. The role will be client facing and heavily focused around not only managing complex projects end to end but also managing high value clients and stakeholders. Projects will typically have multiple work streams and be challenging in nature. You will utilise both onshore and offshore resource teams, span business and technology delivery as well as systems implementation/integration. As a senior/lead PM you will also be responsible for managing and leading teams of people on client site.

To be considered for the Programme Manager vacancy you will have:

-A strong background working as a Programme Manager in insurance space
-Previous experience working in a consultancy or professional services/client facing role
-Experience spanning business and technology transformation
-Systems integration and implementation experience
-Experience managing budgets of GBP1m+
-First class presentation and communication skills
-Offshore experience would be beneficial

Personally you will be a disciplined thinker and capable of working across organisational boundaries in a very demanding, high-output environment. You will have outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Must be pro-active, adaptable and results driven. You will be a proven leader who must be able to work under pressure, juggle multiple projects, using own initiative and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision.
