What will the role involve?
The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for the identification and proactive winning of high value new business to support achievement of the business revenue and margin plan. By understanding key educational and training requirements, you will be able to recognise opportunities and propose solutions that improve the client's business performance. You'll also be directly involved in the bid writing process and so should have a detailed knowledge and experience of this.
What do you need to demonstrate?
You should have a proven track record of identifying new opportunities along with evidence of prospecting for and closing new business deals. You will have the ability to deliver sales targets and KPI's. You must be confident when engaging at director level and have experience in pro-active and consultative sales. Ideally you will be degree qualified. You will have the ability to engage with and influence wide and varied groups of stakeholders, including key players in external agencies along with a high degree of commercial acumen and awareness of the e-learning and training landscape. Given your involvement in bid writing, you'll also need excellent planning and communication skills.
