My client Head Teacher is looking to recruit a KS1 Teacher who is an excellent practitioner. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of delivering outstanding lessons to year 1 and year 2 children and raising attainment levels towards the children's SATs.

The class is a mixed age group with 20 children of year 2 age and 10 children of year 1 age. The successful KS1 Teacher must be able to form a quick bond with the children and engage them fully in the creative but balanced curriculum. You will be ably supported by experienced LSAs who will help you ensure that continuity is achieved for the children's learning experience. There will also be an opportunity to work alongside the Teacher who will be taking maternity leave for a period of time to ensure that a successful handover is achieved.

My client Primary School is a charming Primary in a village just outside of Maidstone in Kent. The school, which was founded in 1859, is proud of its traditions and links with the church and local community. The School has a settled and established team of teaching professionals who love working at the School and this was reflected in the latest Ofsted report which graded the school as "Good" in 2013.

The school has currently 140 on roll in 5 classes. There are 5 full time teachers, 7 Learning Support Assistants and a part time SENCO. The children who attend the school are drawn from the immediate village and surrounding areas and the school feeds a wide range of Secondary Schools in the area including grammar, comprehensive, and high schools.

So, if you are a KS1 Teacher who is an excellent practitioner and you can start in January to teach a lovely KS1 class for the rest of the academic year, then please send your CV to John at Edustaff today
