This dynamic tile distributor takes great pride in being one of the most dynamic tile distributors in the UK. Head Office is based in Chessington Surrey. This company distributes wall and floor tiles to independent tile shops in the South East, Tile and TileMates showrooms, and to house builders, architects and designers.
This job specification is for a full time, Accounts Administrator - Sales & Purchasing Ledger based at Chessington Head Office servicing the established Retail customer base.
Job Description
- Working with S/L and P/L
- Matching and input of Purchase Ledger invoices
- Resolving Customer and supplier queries
- Liaising with the Sales Office and branches regarding invoice queries
- Chasing debt by letter and telephone
- Allocating payments
- Providing cover for credit controller
- Banking
Personal specification
- Educated to GCSE /A level or equivalent level
- Basic knowledge of S/L and P/L would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of MS Office (knowledge of Kerridge systems is not essential as training will be given)
- Confident using spreadsheets and computerised accounts packages
- Accurate and have an excellent attention to detail
- An organised and methodical approach to working
- Numerate and computer literate
- Be friendly professional and punctual and have an honest and discreet attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
