Communications Officer

(Full-time)

St Catharine's College is seeking a full time Communications Officer who will co-ordinate the College's communications resources and to assist in the promotion of the College's mission, values, brand, and attributes.

St Catharine's, founded in 1473, is situated in the historic heart of Cambridge and is a centre of excellence: both academically and in sport, music and the arts. Led by the Master, Professor Sir Mark Welland, it is a home to some 70 Fellows, 430 undergraduates, and 200 graduate students.

This newly established role will provide support across several of the College's departments, including the Master's Office, Alumni and Development Office, Admissions, Conference Services, Library and Archives, Chaplaincy, Music Department, and Society Magazine editorial team. The role will require a proactive individual who is willing and skilled in seeking out new opportunities for the promotion of the College, and provide support and guidance to those already involved in those activities.

The successful candidate will be joining a friendly College at an exciting time in its history and will make a positive contribution to the future of this great institution.

This is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours a week) with a probationary period of 6 months.

The salary will be in the range £27,328 - £32,600 with 25 days of annual leave per annum plus Public Holidays. A pension arrangement will be offered.
