Sales Operations Manager £75,000 OTE plus share option scheme

This is an opportunity to join a small, highly reputable life insurance specialist, based in the North West they are Private Equity backed and have big plans for growth. They are now looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join the senior management team to improve sales productivity.

The role

Mission - To develop and scale sales processes.

This is a senior position which reports directly to the Managing Director with the potential of becoming a board appointment.

You'll be responsible for ensuring that sales processes operate efficiently, ensuring that as the business grows the process stay's in sync with the wider needs of the business.

Working closely with the managing director you will be responsible for improving sales productivity, anticipating and responding to changing events to make sure objectives are met.

You will focus on sales strategy driving regular planning cycles and develop strategy into operational plans that are aimed at delivering objectives.

You will create and maintain relevant KPIs to measure performance and will perform pipeline analysis and forecasting. Using innovative approaches to sales analytics, you will work to make sales process efficient through technology and processes improvement.

Some of the main elements of your role will involve:
- Migration onto a new database platform;
- Sales process;
- Maximising customer lifetime value;
- Post origination deal flow and implementation;
- Sales administration processes;
- Sales channel design;
- Managing regulatory and commercial governance;

- You're committed to implementing innovative approaches to sales analytics and planning.
- You have knowledge of various analytical approaches and methodologies.
- You have the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration on strategic initiatives.
- You have great analytical skills - you're an expert in Excel, and you're curious about data.
- You have previous analytical and operational experience, ideally within a sales function, and have worked with both sales and finance teams.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
