This is a varied and busy role as a Marketing Coordinator, working within the marketing team of a leading law firm based in Bristol. Initially it can be offered as a 9 month contract. Core Responsibilities Helping to implement business development strategy, specifically supporting the Product Managers, Heads of Services and Partners in each area of the business with the co-ordination and implementation of business development activities which promotes our services, products, profile and brandWorking to ensure internal systems and technologies are effective and to promote their use as a way to optimise communication, develop BD tools and to promote new services and productsManage, coordinate and deliver research on markets, targets, companies and competitorsTo work with other Marketing Executives and Press and PR personnel, and to work alongside other staff sitting in the Operations Hub to help establish and deliver the required service to the Technical Hub, including (but not limited to), data coordinators, intranet and extranet developers and data analysersTo support the monitoring and co-coordinating of events, campaigns and other external activities to ensure that the market profile and reputation of the brand is maintained and protected.Support the development of best practice documents which set out clear processes and procedures in event management, creation and execution of marketing materials, branding, team sheets, research, bids and tenders, Clarity Reviews and external publications and properly documented and kept up to dateTo support and help co-ordinate the set-up, running and managing of events and campaigns, both in lead up and follow through, coordinating and submitting feedback to relevant Service and Product HeadsTo establish a central system for the collation of case successes and testimonials for use for promotions, events, products, Chambers, Legal 500 and bids and tendersTo support the preparation of monthly and annual schedules of forthcoming events and activities, broken down by Service Line, Product Line and Technical Line, with estimated costs clearly set out for each event, and flagging any risks or issues in a timely mannerTo co-ordinate the creation of newsletters and publications Key Skills Strong team ethicAbility to work under pressure and to tight timelinesHighly organised and efficientAbility to prioritiseStrong writing, proofing and editing skills; attention to detailStrong creative skillsSolid and successful track record of events and event management, from creation to implementation and deliveryAbility to multi taskAbility to coordinate and run meetings, with clear agendas and objective setting, and an ability to record and follow through on actions.Able to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues across the practice group to produce client focused solutions.An ability to balance a strong client service ethic with internal business considerations.Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Vuture, Apex This is a full time, 9 month FTC role based in central Bristol with a salary of ??19,-000 - ??21,000.
