Sales Representative

A well established Taunton based engineering firm is looking to recruit a field based Sales Representative to become an integral part of their team. This is a full time permanent position working 37 hours per week. This company is offering a competitive salary of ??20,000 - ??26,000 PA dependant on experience. You will be joining a well established, dynamic team who always go the extra mile for clients and colleagues. As a Sales Representative you will be field based and will be required to distribute the company's sales catalogue and flyers within the assigned areas and to sign up online sale accounts. Main Responsibilities Maintain and expand sales of the company's products through the use of our catalogue and website shop to existing and potential accounts.Increase the number of active accounts.Identify new opportunities in areas as agreed with the sales Director.Monitor and maintain regular contact with nominated accounts.Ensure that all customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely an appropriate manner.Plan sales visits.Prepare sales reports.Work with other sales staff and Branch Managers to maximise sales results.Participate in sales blitzes, sales campaigns, promotions and exhibitions.Attend sales meetings. The successful candidate will be energetic and self-motivated with a good understanding of developing sales and a determination to meet personal goals and objectives. You will have excellent communication skill, have strong planning and organisational skills, and have the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
