Truly unique and exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious sporting group in Bath, as a travel and logistics coordinator. Reporting to the CEO, you would be based in Bath, but could be asked to travel within the UK and abroad from time to time. You would also be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, which could include some evening, weekend or Public Holiday work. Your main responsibilities would be: - ensuring that the logistics and travel requirements of all the clients are managed effectively - booking all flights, hotels, car hire and miscellaneous - communicating with the clients to make sure that they are aware of all travel plans In order to achieve the above, you would be expected to: - support the PD's and CEO by booking efficiently, and organising suitable travel plans - liaise with travel companies, hotels and suppliers to negotiate best rates - arrange visas, passes, carnets and any other necessary paperwork - support the financial controller to make payments by providing relevant invoice information - maintain up to date summaries of travel plans and costs against budgets - work with the business administrator to prepare any accreditations required To be right for this role, you MUST have previous experience of managing travel and logistic functions within an organisation. You should also have experience of managing effective supplier relationships. As an individual, you will need to be: - highly organised and have excellent time management - able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure - able to liaise with others, and delegate tasks - a strong communication, with excellent oral and written skills - able to work on your own initiative - flexible and adaptable - a problem-solver, with project management capability - fluent in Microsoft Office with good IT skills If you also have an interest in sport, that would be highly beneficial to your application!
