Children's Team ManagerQualified Social WorkerSalary: ??43789Somerset - Bridgwater, Taunton, Yeovil and Shepton MalletREED Care are working in partnership with Somerset County Council for their recruitment of Children's Qualified Social workers across Somerset with county wide positions in Bridgwater, Taunton, Yeovil and Shepton Mallet.We currently have vacancies at various locations across the county for Team Managers with experience in the following areas:- Safeguarding - working with children and their families where there are children in need or in receipt of a child protection plan.- Assessment - undertaking single assessments of children and families at the point of referral.- Children Looked After - working with children who are looked after through the legal process and beyond.Leading a specialist team of social workers, it will be your responsibility to deliver high quality social care services to vulnerable children and families in one area of the county. We'll look to you to ensure clarity and motivation around our organisational priorities, particularly Children's Improvement and financially sustainable services. Most importantly, you'll provide exceptional management, driving performance and maintaining positive outcomes for those children we work withEducated to degree level, in a recognised Social Care qualification, alongside registration with the HCPC, you'll have demonstrable experience in the field, with a natural commitment to maintaining and expanding your social work knowledge and skills. You'll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills allowing you to efficiently work in partnership with other agencies and teams. Alongside this, you'll have excellent time keeping and a keen eye for detail, as you ensure accurate reports and information are kept.Benefits:??? Relocation package available of up to ??8k???
