Reporting to the Lettings Manager, the Assistant Lettings Manager would help develop the business through property getting, property letting and getting lets as necessary to a successful completion, using effective communication and people skills to ensure a professional image is displayed to the customer. To deputise for the Lettings Manager in his/her absence, providing leadership through example and to control and motivate staff so that their potential is achieved and the business is driven forward. In this role, you will be driving new business through new landlord attraction exercises and networking. You will proactively create new business opportunities by out bound telephone contact as well as face to face to achieve targets. This role is ideal for those that like meeting people in addition to having a sales talent. Experience in property valuations is essential. As well as driving new business you will be required to carry out in-house and outside appointments, therefore a full driving licence is essential. As a Negotiator, your duties will be varied from registering potential tenants, arranging their viewings, conducting the viewings and negotiating the let with the landlord. The Skills you'll need You have worked in a commission-based sales environment and you can deliver impressive levels of customer service and show ability to generate new business opportunities. Knowledge of the local area / property market is preferable but not essential.
