Part of a well-established group, our client is an internationally-leading specialist in pipe support systems. Due to retirement, they are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their team. 

Our client has a global reputation for providing superior products and a professional and unrivalled service. In this exciting role, you’ll have the chance to help maintain our client’s standing and grow their customer base even further.  

As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for selling our client’s pipe supporting equipment to customers throughout Northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. 

Once you’ve completed your product training, you’ll proactively identify new business opportunities and highlight the benefits of products to prospective customers. 

You’ll develop strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, build an in-depth understanding of their needs and take advantage of any opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell products. 

To be considered, you must have: 

- A proven track record in sales, ideally including experience of industrial pipe supports, piping and valves
- A mechanical engineering background 

As an Area Sales Manager, you must be a positive self-starter with good interpersonal and communication skills. You must also be able to work on your own initiative whilst maintaining a high level of focus and tenacity.
