Cyberspace Communications Specialist / ICT Technician

Individuals are sought across the UK to join this government-backed armed forces organisation to train as Cyberspace Communications Specialists / ICT Technicians.

No experience is required - opportunities are available for candidates interested in IT Support, Communication Network Provision and Information / Cyber Security.

All training will be provided via an award-winning apprenticeship training programme, and once qualified, you will be given the opportunity to expand into areas such as satellite communications support, intelligence support and application development, both in the UK and overseas.

You'll be working as part of a team providing 24/7 support to operations around the world, providing and securing IT services to a high demanding organisation. Location: Across the UK (overseas placements are also on offer)
Salary: £17,500 during initial training, rising to £25,500 with further increments

In order to apply for the role of Cyberspace Communications Specialist / ICT Technician, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged 16-30
- Been a UK resident for the last 5 years
- Be a citizen of the UK or ROI or holder of dual nationality, OR have been a Commonwealth citizen since birth
- Possess GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths, English and a science or technology-related subject

Training will consist of an Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals with opportunities to extend that to a Foundation Degree and potential Bachelors' with further distance study.
