An Oracle Functional Analyst is required to join our IT team in Central Bristol. WHAT THE ORACLE SYSTEMS ANALYST ROLE INVOLVES: Reporting into our Applications Manager, the Oracle Functional Analyst role will provide functional expertise in the support of the Oracle EBS Footprint at Unite Students. Your role will include: Supporting business users in their day to day running of the following Oracle modules: Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Projects, Fixed Assets, Treasury, iProcurement, iExpenses, HR, Payroll, Web ADI and Report Manager Delivering system changes and enhancements to improve business processesProviding the right tools for the job of our users, working with our Managed Service provider where appropriateCreating and maintaining system documentationScheduling patches, upgrades and code release in line with business priorities Upon joining our busy and friendly IT team you`ll form close working relationships with IT colleagues, our internal customers and external partners, working collaboratively and flexibly to enable Unite Students to reach its goals. WHAT WE LOOK FOR: Whilst we use a wide range of EBS modules, the focus for this role is the core financial modules, specifically: Accounts ReceivableCash ManagementGeneral LedgerAccounts PayablePayroll You`ll also be able to demonstrate: 4 years or more experience of working as a Systems AnalystExposure to hands-on improvement of applications in a customer-facing commercial organisationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood experience of User Acceptance Testing processesIt`s also likely that you will have previously worked with a structured design methodology and have managed small-scale projects ABOUT UNITE STUDENTS: Unite Students revolutionised student housing in 1991, opening the first private and large-scale accommodation, created specifically for students.
