We currently have an amazing opportunity with our client based in central Bath. They are looking for a talented Advisor to join them in brand new offices to provide a top quality generalist service to their business. Although this is a stand-alone role you will be working very closely and have full integration with the wider HR team. Key responsibilities Managing a wide range of cases, with guidance from the HR Manager on restructures, employee relations cases, redundancies, recruitment, reward, training and development.You will be required to proactively manage employee relations issuesEnsuring the business is compliant with employment law at all times.Working in close partnership with colleagues across all functions to deliver effective HR serviceCompleting project work as directed and guided by senior staff Promote HR activities across the business, facilitated by communicationManaging the recruitment process across the business; drafting job descriptions, adverts, liaising and managers, assisting with the interview and selection process and speaking with candidates, including the graduate schemeFacilitating inductions and other in-house and external learning and development activities To be responsible for your own continuous development and keeping up to date with changing employment law, best practice and knowledge of company activitiesBe a champion and custodian of the values across the business ensuring a consistent cultureAssisting in producing accurate MI reports as requestedActively promoting appraisals and personal development and ensuring that relevant training and development is carried outEnsuring all administrative processes such as payroll reporting, creating contracts, starter/leaver and employee life cycle administration is correctly carried out Person spec Substantial experience in an operational or generalist roleCIPD QualifiedBe able to demonstrate a commitment and have a track record of providing exceptional team working abilities, professionalism, customer service delivery and communicationAbility to work accurately, with excellent attention to detailProven ability to create and maintain excellent working relationships at all levelsProven ability to work with tact and integrity at all timesAbility to maintain confidentiality at all timesExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
