Collections Manager

This well established Financial Services business is growing consistently, they are market leaders in their field and a fantastic opportunity has become available for a Collections Manager to join their rapidly growing Collections team based in Glasgow.

Description

The successful Collections Manager will either be suitably experienced at managing more than one team or an experienced and ambitious Team Leader looking for the opportunity and next step up in their management career.

They will be happy to lead by example by successfully managing their own diary of debtors and achieving their own personal collections fees target. They will report directly to the National Operations Manager and will initially oversee two small teams of four Collectors inclusive of the Team Leader in addition to a small Part-Time team with a view to growing additional teams.

They will be responsible for, but not limited to; hiring, training, leading and motivating the Collections teams on a daily basis, managing the performance of Team Leaders, ensuring operational requirements are understood and monitored.

Profile

The successful Collections Manager will have:
- A background in Collections / Credit Control
- Previously managed a Collections / Credit Control team/teams
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- An understanding of the operational and regulatory compliance requirements
- A highly organised approach to work
- The ability to motivate and support a team

Salary
Competitive salary DOE in addition to personal and team bonuses both of which are entirely uncapped.
