Through technology they enable poor communities to build on their skills and knowledge to produce sustainable and practical solutions - transforming their lives forever and protecting the world around them.
They have an exciting opportunity for you to project manage their impact investment work delivered through the ACRE platform (Access to Capital for Rural Enterprise. Our client is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who can lead this work, working in close coordination with their country and regional office staff in Africa, Asia and Latin America, external consultants and the four other members of the ACRE consortium.
This is a real opportunity to develop your skills in coordinating a programme of support to rural to facilitate debt and equity finance through a syndicate model and a pool of impact-first investors.
In this role you will provide overall project management support to the ACRE programme, and support country staff to identify and assess suitable SMEs based on an agreed set of filters and metrics. You will join the UK-based Inclusive Markets team and will work remotely with their overseas-based staff and consultants. Some overseas travel may be involved for this role. This post is offered on a 2 year fixed term basis with the potential for extension depending on funding.
They are looking for a committed and creative individual, with first-hand knowledge and practical experience of working in consortia, through local offices and on SME development programmes in an international development context.
Flexible working conditions may be considered for this role, including being based in one of our client’s offices:
UK, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Nepal.

Salary: £34,031 - £38,283, depending on experience
