An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and professional individual to join them as a Tutor in Mechanical Engineering. Within the role, you will develop and teach on a range of Mechanical Engineering related courses ranging from Level 2 to Level 5.

In the role you will be required to use your expertise to provide a high quality learning environment within the School of Engineering and Transport Skills and work closely with the Curriculum Manager to ensure this delivers the strategy of the college.

Coordinating, designing, delivering and developing a programme of study for a group or groups of learners, you must develop and monitor resources for learner use and act as a personal tutor to learners. Keeping up-to-date with curriculum initiatives and development of standards, you will implement quality procedures and complete documentation and appropriate records of learner performance.

Educated to a minimum of Level 3 in a relevant vocational discipline and ideally with recent and relevant industrial experience, you will be looking to take the next step in your career or be a graduate/newly qualified teacher. A Highly self-motivated, energetic and driven individual, encompassing a strong sense of autonomy, you will possess strong presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate achievement of targets.
