HR Officer (Ref: HRO-1116)
Centre 404 is a well-established charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families throughout north London.
We have a fantastic opening for an HR Officer to join our team. This brand new post is an ideal opportunity for someone who already has some experience of dealing with generalist HR or recruitment procedures and who wants to develop their career, take on more responsibility and expand their experience in a busy front line organisation.
Primarily the post holder will focus on implementing our support worker recruitment strategy. This work will have a direct impact on improving the quality of support we provide to people with a learning disability and their families.
Candidates will need to bring a positive and resilient approach to the role and be able to give HR advice with confidence. We are looking for someone who ideally has previous HR or recruitment experience, who is an effective communicator, and who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues in a busy environment. The post holder will need to be able to schedule their work and prioritise to respond flexibly to the needs of the organisation.
The post holder will have some line management responsibilities and will also be involved in representing Centre 404 at recruitment and training events so they will also need to have good presentation skills and be able to handle effective professional boundaries and relationships with people at all levels.
Salary: £26,000 per Annum
Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Location: Islington, London
Centre 404 is fully committed to staff development and supervision and will provide a detailed induction and relevant training and support.
