We're seeking a Geography teacher for a school in Chester. The school are looking for an innovative teacher to join a forward thinking school. The school are happy to receive applications from NQT's.

Overview of duties:

To work closely with the Head of Humanities, to provide students with the very best learning experiences.

You will also be expected to contribute to the growth of this core subject area, being responsible for providing support, guidance and motivation to teaching staff and Learning Support Assistants.

You must also be able to contribute and share ideas and strategies that impact on classroom learning.

Specific Responsibilities:

Planning, preparation and delivery of curriculum.

Providing engaging and interactive lessons.

Communicating with parents and carers over pupils progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events.

Participating in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events.

Preparing pupils for qualifications and external examinations.
