Are you a Construction Project Manager looking to secure your next contract?Currently recruiting a Project Manager to work at Hinkley Point in Somerset The client is currently working on site doing building the accommodation facilities and are looking for someone look after building no.2. You will be responsible for managing several installation sites concurrently, Provide pre and after sales service and Pre-tender site visits as required.Manage projects from date of launch order to final handover, achieving agreed programme milestones, financial out-turns and handover dates. You will be ensuring Variations to contract are agreed and managed effectively as well as being responsibility for enforcing Health & Safety legislation on site.Other duties Liaise with project stakeholders throughout the project life.Negotiate with sub-contractors supported by Project Commercial TeamPrinciple AccountabilitiesEnsure site visits are carried out as per company and client's requirements, assess ground conditions, cranage, service layouts, access transport etc.You will also ensure a smooth handover of modular buildings to client on program and with minimum snaggingAttend pre-start meetings as required and carry out method statements/risk assessments, etc. to comply with Health & Safety requirementsCo-ordinate and manage sub-contractors, issue site instructions to satisfactory conclusion of each contract.Attend to customer complaints timeously and repair any defective/remedial works to the customer's satisfactionCarry out internal snagging prior to client's snagging of building, obtain Practical Completion CertificatePrepare Project programmes as requiredOverall management of project costs to ensure proper financial performanceEDF/NNB compliance for QHSECompliance with NNB Works Information DocumentsExperience, Qualifications & Training:-CSCS with Triple Bar-SMSTS with CILM certificate-First Aid-Current Drug and Alcohol Test-Commercial awareness within sector-Degree in Civil/Building background, or Site Agent from Construction industry-Good IT literacy essential-Knowledge and proven experience of current H & S site legislationFor further information on both the role and the client please get in touch with Gary Cornes on and email your CV to to APPLY NOWYour expert recruitment consultant is Gary Cornes, call today on .
