Female PE Teacher

We are currently working in partnership with a larger than average secondary school in the Chelmsford area, who are looking to strengthen their Physical Education department, by appointing a PE teacher in January 2017. The position is full time and permanent, and will be teaching pupils across Key Stages 3 4 and 5, so previous A Level teaching experience would be hugely beneficial.

The successful candidate will:-

*have strong subject knowledge of PE, with ability to teach across the Key Stages. A Level experience would be hugely beneficial.
*have good behaviour management skills and the ability to keep pupils engaged and on task.
*display consistently good and outstanding teaching in an effort to improve student achievement.
*be able to offer students opportunities to work independently and reach goals on their own merits but with your support.
*identify students who require extra help, and give them effective direction in order to close gaps in attainment between different groups.
*be able to keep a calm head under pressure and maintain a sense of humour.
